Yeap, that’s me
My name is Spiros Badios, founder of Ionius Asset and I’ve been creating visual stories across a wide range of industries and environments for quite some time around the Ionian Sea and beyond.
While based in Corfu throughout my journey with a camera, I’ve filmed luxury properties, destination weddings, sporting events, documentaries, music productions, promotional campaigns, commercials and army projects.
What makes my approach different is not the equipment I use. It’s the lifestyle I chose and continue living until this day.
My background includes studies and diplomas in Geotechnical Engineering and Music, I’m a competitive freestyle snowboarder and instructor, a passionate freediver, I served as an Airborne Ranger in the Hellenic Special Forces and remain an active reservist at the National Guard while training in a wide range of extreme sports and living outdoors continues to shape my personal growth. These paths may seem unrelated at first, but together they have taught me to think strategically, pay attention to detail, be well prepared, remain calm under pressure, and adapt quickly when circumstances change. Those are the values I bring to every production.
Whether filming underwater, working in remote locations, operating in extreme weather conditions, or managing demanding schedules, I approach every assignment with the same mentality: Understand the mission. Adapt. Deliver.
